Walking directions, quests button, sleep button, walk/run button, and menu button, that's probably all the controls that works and can be bind to any of the Steam Deck button.
The game would be very playable, the saved games can be "fixed" if you copy saved game from windows (you can then overwrite the save, but can't name it, so it says "empty") Without Proton Experimental/Proton-GE you can't even run the game on Steam Deck, it doesn't launch. Proton-GE and Proton Experimental work basically the same for MM7, didn't see any differences from my testing. It works really good and even gyro aim is working. Other than that the game is playable so far, but without saves it's hard to progress further to find any glitches / problems. I also wanted to ask if there's a startup command for changing the saved games location (that might help with the issue) I know it's probably Proton related, but don't know where else to ask, so I am asking if someone from here stumbled upon this exact error message and if they got it working. Is there a way to set the path to the saved games via some startup command /.ini file? I don't even have that path on my Steam Deck.

Even the widescreen works, but I have a problem with saves. I got the Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor working on my Steam Deck via Proton experimental, it's the GOG version with GreyFace mod installed. It's really weird and I am not sure how to fix it.
So only Joysticks work, and START and SELECT buttons work. I can set the button in the controls, it registers the button there, but when I go to the game it doesn't work, it's like I am not pressing the buttons at all. Edit: After fiddling with the saved games (saved on desktop, copied saves to the Steam Deck), I can now save to one slot, can't name the save and can only overwrite one slot, but it at least works.īut I have a problem with any button on Steam Deck not registering in the game.
